Recording

Sunday, February 19th, 2012

Darren has not been back long from spending ten days in Vancouver and within a week he is off again to go back and finish recording vocals. This means that we are getting close to completing the new tunes. Our producer Danny Craig has really been working closely with us to achieve what we feel is our best songs yet. And we are all really excited about the way the new tracks are sounding and are looking forward to playing them live for you soon.

The past few months have been very busy for us. Between traveling and playing shows we have been finding time to write and working on new material with Ryan Andersen and Danny Craig. We are all really excited to bring you some new tunes in the next few months. For those of you in the Saskatoon, SK. area you can catch HC as we bring in the new year at Bud’s on Broadway Dec 31st.

Cletis Changes

Monday, March 28th, 2011
Hey everyone, Greg here.
Just wanted to fill you in on some recent changes to the H.C line up. As some of you know I have been increasingly busy with some other aspects of my life (kids and running a business). It has been very hard for the band to work around my schedule this last year. It has shown in the amount shows we have been able to do lately. Cletis has always been a huge passion of mine but I realize if the band is going to move forward it is time for some changes.
I have decided to step aside and bring a new member in the band to take my place. We didn’t have to look far for my replacement. He has been a friend and a fan of the band since we started and are super exited to add him to the mix. At this time I would like to introduce you to H.C’s newest member Travis Black! He is a killer guitar player and has already made an incredible addition to the band.
We are already writing and working with Travis on a release for sometime late this year. I won’t be a stranger either. The guys have asked me to stay on as a “sixth member” of the band and continue to write and handle day to day management. I couldn’t be happier with this decision and look forward to keep pushing Cletis to it’s full potential. Thanks to everyone that has made my time as guitar player for Cletis a great time. It won’t be forgotten. Cheers!
